Explore Walton County Parks

Georgia State Parks

Look for playgrounds, ball fields, recreation centers, lakes and trails in Walton County along with the Georgia Gopher.

Georgia State Parks and the Department of Natural Resources are on a campaign to promote Georgia State Parks, and encourage getting outdoors and getting fit.

Our State Parks would like our smaller County Parks involved in this promotion too, so their fun loving gopher has come to explore Walton County, and to challenge everyone to head out to your local parks.
